لويس هاميلتون صديق أي دبليو سي يتسابق في الدوحة الدوحة، 27 فبراير 2014 – انضمّ صديق دار أي دبليو سي لويس هاميلتون إلى كارولين هيوبر، المديرة في أي دبليو سي الشرق الاوسط والهند، والسيد جميل الماجد، نائب رئيس الماجد للمجوهرات، في النسخة الحادية عشرة لمعرض المجوهرات والساعات في الدوحة لإطلاق محاكي “مرسيدس أي أم جي بتروناس” MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Simulator، الذي تستضيفه دار أي دبليو سي شافهاوزن في جناحها تحت عنوان Ingenieur. والجدير ذكره ان دار الساعات السويسرية هي الشريك الهندسي الرسمي لفريق الفورمولا وان مرسيدس أي أم جي بتروناس منذ بداية عام 2013. بمناسبة انطلاق فعاليات معرض الدوحة للمجوهرات والساعات، رحبت دار أي دبليو سي شافهاوزن بصديقها لويس هاميلتون في حدث فريد من نوعه تشهده قطر بمشاركة الماجد للمجوهرات. وفي هذا الإطار، أوضح سائق الفورمولا وان في فريق مرسيدس أي أم جي بتروناس: “إنه لشرف لي أن أكون جزءاً من عائلة أي دبليو سي هو في الحقيقة بما أننا نتشاطر المبادىء ذاتها وقد وجدنا الكثير من القواسم المشتركة بين عالم السباق وقطاع صناعة الساعات.” وفي المعرض الذي يقام في مركز المؤتمرات الوطنية في قطر، استضافت دار أي دبليو سي شافهاوزن محاكي مرسيدس أي أم جي بتروناس في جناحها تحت عنوان Ingenieur حيث انطلق لويس هاميلتون أمام أنظار عدد كبير من الضيوف والصحافيين في المحاكي في سباق افتراضي على حلبة أبو ظبي الدولية، وقدم عرضاً مثيراً للانطباع لمهاراته المتفوقة في القيادة. وسيتمكن زوار المعرض حتى الثاني من مارس 2014 من انتهاز الفرصة لمحاولة تجاوز معدل السرعة الذي حققه لويس على المحاكي، وفي الوقت نفسه، اختبار احساس القيادة على حلبة الفورمولا وان عن كثب قدر الامكان. وصرّحت كارولين هيوبر: “إنه لشرف لنا أن يكون لويس هاميلتون ضيفاً لدينا في معرض الدوحة للمجوهرات والساعات، ويسرنا أن نشارك في هذا الحدث الهام للمرة الثانية.” وأضافت في السياق ذاته: “لا يتيح هذا المعرض لعشاق الساعات الميكانيكية العالية الجودة المجال لاكتشاف مجموعات أي دبليو سي المقرر طرحها في المستقبل وحسب، ولكنه يطلعهم أيضاً على الأنشطة الإضافية التي تقوم بها دار أي دبليو سي في قطر. ونعني بذلك، أننا نودّ أن ننتهز هذه الفرصة لنعلن عن افتتاح أي دبليو سي لبوتيك جديد في فيلاجيو مول في الدوحة في شهر مارس.” بدوره، أضاف السيد جميل الماجد: “تتشرف الماجد للمجوهرات بالترحيب بدار أي دبليو سي في معرض الدوحة للمجوهرات والساعات مرة أخرى هذا العام. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، نحن متحمسون لافتتاح البوتيك في فيلاجيو مول الذي أعلنت عنه أي دبليو سي.” وختم الماجد قوله: ” هذه ليست سوى بداية تعاوننا مع أي دبليو سي ونحن نتطلع إلى تعزيز شراكتنا إلى أبعد من ذلك “.
